Ever find yourself the passenger of a car on a route you drive all the time? I always manage to spot new things when I’m in the passenger seat, be it a new tree, or a house that I’ve never noticed as quaint before. I get that same feeling walking around parts of town that I drive around all the time.
On Museum Day here in Sacramento I walked to the Stanford Mansion. It was the morning after one of our, as of lately, rare rainy nights. Walking along a path I’ve walked down many times before I was able to appreciate the State Capitol in a new light thanks to the reflections in the puddles all along the way.
